Why New York City is the Best Place to Raise Your Children

For outsiders, New York City may seem like a scary place.  The populous five boroughs provides opportunities for experiences you may not get elsewhere and that may be overwhelming to non-natives. However, New York may be the best place to raise your children.

1. Kids that grow up here will innately understand and accept diversity, which is important.  They will be less likely to experience culture shocks haven attended school with all different ethnic and racial backgrounds.

2. Unlike the suburbs, your child will most likely be taking the train or bus over a car. So, no drunk driving incidents

3. Fun-fact: If you were to eat out every day for dinner for the rest of your life, you still would have not visited every restaurant in New York. With so many options home cooked meals aren't as necessary as they would be in suburbia.

4. Many college grads from the suburbs will move to New York but if your child was born and raised in New York, they'll most likely just do a U-Turn after college.

5. Oh, did I mention the museums, the exhibits, the concerts, the endless free events that occur every day?! Yeah New York City is great.
